Chase away the winter blues with Creative Gardening....

Creative gardening is a lot of fun in the winter and this year in the eastern US we could use some.  One of my favorite things to do is start the babies from my spider plants in anything that will hold dirt.  Any old vase, cup, jar, attractive old car part and even a 100 year old leather shoe will work.  At times I may have 40 or more going at once.  I give them away and even have sold a few it seems the kids really like them.  It is a good use for an old expensive vase with a chip in the lip as the plant will grow over the chip and the vase can still be shown well.  Try it out........
